We at Bannerkids Inc. and our Associates, Kids finding Kids, will make banners of Missing Children one child at a time, and put the banners of those children on as many Websites as possible. When you click on the banner of a child, it will go to a profile page. At the bottom of the profile page you will find an E-mail that connects directly to the Police Department. With this technology and the cooperation of all Law Enforcement Agencies, we should be able to locate a child from Los Angeles to New York as well as around the world within 5 to 7 minutes. The technology we have today is incredible. In an instant, an E-mail can be sent across the World to anybody with a computer. We have created a way to use this technology to help find missing children throughout the World. The Bannerkids program is quite simple, yet extremely powerful and effective.

When the Internet "Posse" recognizes or locates a child (and there are only 143 million looking daily... "and what a posse ! ") on one of the banners, they simply click on the banner and they are automatically sent to that child's profile page. At the bottom of the page there is an E-mail address that goes directly to the Police Department where the missing person's report was filed. Once an e-mail field on the profile page is clicked on, it sends the Case Number embedded in the Subject line of the e-mail. The actual Text Field or message box contains the Subject's Name and URL or Hyperlink to the pertaining person's profile page.

The internet user then types in the information of where they believe they last saw the child and other pertinent facts. In the body of the E-mail there is a hyperlink of the profile page. The E-mail is sent in an instant to the dispatchers within the particular police department. The police department then forwards the E-mail with the information and the profile of the missing child to a Police Officer in his patrol car. Within minutes of the initial E-mail, a police officer could make contact with the missing child. In essence, by using this program internet users can quite literally help find any missing child throughout the World with in 5 to 7 minutes.

If you, the police officer, is the one who fills out the the missing person's report, you can post that person directly to bannerkids.org. Within 24 to 48 hrs. there will be a profile page and a banner of that person circulating on the World Wide Web.

This is most important. This tool is for Law Enforcement: We at Bannerkids need the cooperation of Law Enforcement agencies throughout the World to make this program work. What we need is very simple. Every police department with internet access could set up an E-mail address that would read: "bannerkids@pdaddress." Then, we at Bannerkids would be able to make sure that when you receive an email from one of the internet "Posse" who has "possibly located a child," your department would be able to respond in a timely manner, even forward the E-mail to a squad car to see if that is the child. We need everyone involved. Isn't it about time that the Law Enforcement Agencies get information FIRST HAND rather than second or third. Bannerkids will be the eyes and ears for law enforcement.
